3 FLANGES DISMANTLING JOINTS
3 flanges dismantling joints are normally used in water plants, to remove machines, valves or sealed gates, where this operation is difficult for flanges with step or others causes. These joints are built with body pipe and flanges in painted carbon steel S235JR, screw bars and nuts in hot zinc high resistance carbon steel and gasket (o-ring) in NBR or EPDM rubber, but on request is possible to evaluate others materials (stainless steel and other rubber). Standard diameters are from DN 65 to DN 3200 and the flanges dime are UNI PN 6, 10, 16, 25 and ANSI 150, but on request we can evaluate joints on customer's design. For sea water usage (or aggressive plant's areas), GT FLEX S.r.l. can supply these joints with inner rubber line (natural rubber, butilic rubber or others), to save the joint from the fluid conveyed's corrosion action. Dismantling joints are built with multi-ply bellow in stainless steel 304, 321 or 316, with different numbers of plies that depend on the design pressure (PN) and are connected with fixed flanges in painted carbon steel (at customer's request is possible in stainless steel). These joints can to be supplied with or withour inner sleeve (GS or GSC) and where is not possible to make anchor points, to eliminate strenght dues to internal pressure, is possible to add pressure bearing tie rods sets (GSF or GSCF). GT FLEX can to supply dismantling joints certified for European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/CE with big diameter (diameter 2000 and more big).
